You have a new car?  Congratulations!  Now lets run through what you need to keep it clean, looking like new and easy le clean all without scratching it!

We have different versions of this kit depending on your cars colour, so pic the right kit for your car.

• Coloured Cars

• Black Cars or Dark car (like dark blues, dark greys etc)

• White cars, or silver or light coloured cars

• Matte paint or wraps, regardless of colour (matte is special, if you have a matte car choose this one)

• Easy Ceramic for new cars

 Note:  Cloths are currently Yellow Not Blue due to supply challenges (same cloths just different colour)

All the kits are the same but with slightly different selection to suit that car, this makes a big difference though.

Start with washing your car with cleanslate then claying it 

Clean Slate is a wax stripping wash to remove any waxes etc that might be on the car from shipping or the dealership, Use that first, Id wash a couple of times if it was me, make sure its well rinsed off.  Use the big grey woolly mammoth towel to dry off.  Not when new this can leave a bit of fluff, this should pass, it’s the downside to the softness.

Clean Slate Surface Cleanser Wash to strip old waxes and shipping preservatives

Your car is new but you don't know what was put on it for shipping or at the dealership.  Leaving old layers of wax, sealant, and contamination on paintwork ruins fresh car details and clogs buffing and polishing pads. Two Dirt Traps to trap the dirt in the bottom of each bucket and reduce scratching

(colours may vary)

Woolly Mammoth Super Soft and Thick Microfiber Drying Towel 36" X 25"

The Woolly Mammoth Microfiber Drying Towel is the softest, shaggiest, and most-absorbent microfiber drying towel. It’s the fastest and safest way to dry any vehicle!  It can leave a little bit of fluff when new but this passes and it is so soft its the safest option to not scratch your new car.

Once clean and dry more inside or at least into shade and let the car cool.  Then clay.

To clay use the clay lube, and the clay, tear off 1/3 of the clay and keep the rest in the packet, mould it to a mice pad, spray heaps of clay lube on a section of the car and on the clay and clay the car including the windows and mag wheels.  Ass you go feel the difference, and wipe off the clay lube as done along with the gunk in it with one of the blue microfiber towels.

As you go look at the paint, if you see any defects now’s the time to address them.

Once clayed the next steps are adding shine and protection, and are very similar:

You would think that a brand new car would be pristine! Clay Lube

Clay bars are so sticky that without help, they would simply get stuck to the paint! Spray Clay Lube wherever your wash mitt or clay bar goes to increase lubricity and reduce friction so your clay bar grabs onto the above-surface contamination stuck on top of the surface to restore a smooth as glass surface without causing extra scratches and damage as the contamination clogs polishing pads!  learn more...

So far so good...

The Above gives you what you need to clean and clay for new car to get it to pure unclogged un contaminated paint.  Once you have don't this put the cleanslate and clay away as you wont need them for a while, now we will add shine and protection.  Dong those first steps above will make the next steps last longer and work better.

First you apply the wet mirror finish glaze.  Glaze is like makeup for cars, it fills in minor scratches and swirls, hides some imperfections, and adds shine and pop.  Wet Mirror is great on all colours.

You apply the glaze to the paint by hand with a microfiber applicator, you are just spreading it, you don't have to work it in so you can be fast.  You only apply this to the paint, not trim or windows or headlights etc.  Paint only.  Then you wait 20 mins or so (check bottle).  Then you buff the excess off by hand with a workhorse microfiber cloth (these have tiny hooks on the end to grab the product, and make the job a lot easier and faster).  The 20 minutes to wait give you your chance for your first beer.  Hence the nickname...

Then apply jetseal in the same way but with a different clean microfiber applicator, and this time apply to to the windows and headlights as well (but not rubber or black plastic).  You can also apply jetseal to metal, even where it gets hot like exhaust tips etc. 

Then another 20 mins or so (check bottle), that’s beer 2.  Then  buff off. 

Then apply wax, the same process, I would do lava first as it will last longer than butter wet wax.  I wouldn’t use lava on the glass or headlights but I would use butter jet seal and butter wet wax on these.  , another 15 mins (less time), (beer 3), then buff it off as before.  Each product you use a different applicator and cloth.  Don't bunch up the cloths, have them flat and folded into quarters, flip as they get dirty (you get 8 swaps per cloth).

Layering is a great way to add shine and depth. and this is a great kit to get amazing results quickly and easily without a polishing machine.  Give it a go and let us know how you find it!

Don’t use cleanslate to regularly wash, as that will strip off those great waxes, put cleanslate away somewhere high up and where no one will accidentally wash your car with it. 

For regular washes use extreme bodywash.  For quick cleaning in between washes, or if something happens like bird crap when on the road use speed wipe, I keep speed wipe and some clean microfiber cloths in the car.

Layer more wax on to keep up protection as you feel like it.  Lava lasts up to 6 months, butter wet wax up to 2 months.  Just add more on over the top.  Once a year or sooner to be safe remove everything with cleanslate and reapply fresh.  I.e. same as above again
